AskMerck Rebuild

Role: Create a UX audit to address usability needs, functionality issues and accessibility concerns to better understand how to develop effective user journeys. Break down design problems in order to rebuild each page based on client and user needs. Build mockups to present solutions on the new redesign.

Overview

CHALLANGE

AskMerck wanted to better utilize its resources, services and tools by creating a functional and easy to navigate website. The current website suffers from undefined sections, confusing menuing, complex form pages and poor readability which all contribute to the website drop off rates per page or activity.

GOALS

  • Improve user drop off rates

  • Simplify tasks that were made needlessly complex

  • Improve navigation and menuing

  • Create a system that allowed for quick access to all resources

  • Turn boring SOP documents into dynamic onboarding experience

PURPOSE

AskMerck is a powerful tool for healthcare professionals to seek the informational resources they need on treatments and best practices. AskMerck provides products and information on new ways to seek and administer treatments to patients. The website aims to transform into a content hub for educational modules, videos, monographs, and one-on-one calls.

Audit Highlights

Along with prior user analytics and feedback provided, I created an audit presentation to address information architecture issues and usability concerns. I addressed issues and broke them into sections that could be solved through different design ideas and solutions.

Information Architecture

User Flows

Shortened more concise user flows that would help solve user drop off rates when trying to accomplish 3 different tasks, scheduling a call, submitting a claim, accessing informational videos.
